College Board is a non-profit organization that clears a path for all students to own their future through the AP Program, SAT Suite, BigFuture, and more. After previously working with College Board, they reached out again in 2023 with a request to redesign a Presentation Ecosystem for their AP Program.
The Problem?
College Board was using a deck system that only had 65% of usable slide space, large file sizes starting at 12MB due to a bloated Master, long presentation build times, and some frustration caused from incompatible switches between different business unit templates.

The Solution?
After working with stakeholders, we designed a Presentation Ecosystem that solved those pain points and refreshed the overall brand. We implemented a lean, 2MB starter deck with a simplified Master that reduced build times by 30-50%. The new design also increased usable slide space to 90%, and the starter deck contained pre-loaded branding elements (colors, logos, etc.) that allowed for seamless switching between different business units. Additionally, a secondary deck was created that contained a full slide library with 450+ ready-made slides for various use cases.
